Currently, the nation has the lead on the best scholars and schools of magical practice, and its people are keen and smart in their way of living. What other secrets hide in those waters? Locations

Cities

White Celestial Palace

Home of the most the most prestigous scholars and houses of knowledge and craft. Buildings of the White Palace are neatly organized into prefectures dedicated to specific arts or wisdom. The White Celestial Palace is nestled along a giant underwater pillar that stretches upwards out of the water as an island of its own. The palace carves its prestine design into the rocks, becoming a shining beacon for others to look up to.

Masjid of Light

The largest mosque in the oceans, it acts as a holy center, a library, and a museum of sacred knowledge. While the main building stores much of the ocean's literature and history, smaller mosques and temples of different worship/beliefs around the building organize differing content.

Academy of Silver

The largest school of knowledge in the oceans and the key place to work as members of government. It is filled with scholars of the highest magical practice, the building hidden in deep caverns, with open ceiling pockets of pools that cast moonlight down upon the waters.

Key Villages

Mosaic Village

A small settlement nestled in porous caverns that famously line their walls with various shells, glass, and crystal shalls. Their works of art depict history, often laden in hidden messages for Royals.

Sterling Spires

A village that builds its homes clustered around giant rock stacks and pillars. Known for collecting priceless rocks and clay around the area.

Jellybloom

A popular home to jellyfish, the buildings resemble floating white jellycaps drifting in place in the sea, admitting light akin to lanterns when the sea goes dark.

Clarity

Extremely clear waters with the whitest sand. Unique rock formations usually house sea turtles, making this village a perfect place to rest and retire in peace.

Landmarks

Ivory Seamounts

Glistening white like ivory, these seamounts are a glistening backdrop to the ocean in the West. A few temples make home here with beautiful statue gardens.

Speckled Isles

Numerous islands and rock stacks that litter both the surface and depths of the West Sea. These islands are mostly uninhabited by dwellings, therefore are perfect homes for numerous buildings of knowledge and magical practice. Unfortunately, they are also a hotspot for pirates.

Fallen Crowns

Larger rock stacks that pile upon each other, resembling giant dragon horns. Perfect for small houses to be built inside crevices and shelves.

Ironsmith's Crater

A giant crater from days of old. It is now filled with various sea kelp and coral, though the shape of the blast tells it was a devestating blow. Stories tell of an angry heavenly dragon smiting the ground, or the crater resembling a hammer strike.

Mirroring Kelps

A kelp forest with leaves that have formed thicker and shinier than most species. The shimmers of the kelp creates rainbow light, but it is advised to swim carefully due to cut injuries.

Eternal Muqarnas

Deep caves of white rocks and plants, looking petrified in time. Muqarnas are carved in ideal caverns of worship, with more secret holy places hidden in the tunnels. It is a highly divine place.

Glass Forest

A forest of large, fanning soft coral whose 'leaves' shimmer like crystal or glass under light. It is a seren and quiet place, ideal for silent moments of thought.

Dragon's Atoll

Shaped like a sleeping sea dragon, the atoll's waves never crash, providing a serene place of leisure or study. It seems to be safe from storms as well.

Northern & Southern Kelp

Large kelp forests that merge with the borders of the North and South Sea.

Heaven's Hideaway

Giant table corals that fan out in canopies, its topside iridescent while its bottom side is cool and dark. The shades bloom during the day, growing near many buildings of knowledge.

Rusting Beast

A giant mysterious metal structure lies on an empty sea dune floor, accumulating rust from dynasties of wear and tear. A sore sight. Some say it was a secret project of the West emperors, while others say it was a Sunland invention dumped. It resembles a giant leviathan. Also known as the "Rusting Beast of the Dunes".

Western Beacon

A large volcano that sea emperors can use to send signals to Sunland or other seafarrers.
